Mexico

We see people wearing shirts with writing on them, and the writing doesn't make any sense, so I"m guessing the wearers don't understand or care. Some recent shirts we saw:
"selfie magnet"
"world tour 1981"
"complete sport"
"whatcha want?" (written in pink on a camouflauge background, worn by a rugged man)

Mexico doesn't have seedless watermelon, and that seems to me to be a metaphor. It's such a luxury that we don't even think about it. We have choices for everything.

We have our laundry done at a laundromat half a block away. It costs 13 pesos per kilogram. Last time we had it done, it cost $1.30 and came back with everything folded, even underwear.

We had a cleaner-person come and clean our apartment. She mopped and folded and cleaned. She sorted and organized the kids' toys. She folded our dirty clothes. Our place is nice and clean now and we're $12 poorer
