Love
We were driving and Noah said, "I love you." Yona was so impressed, she got this huge smile and turned around. Instead of meeting her gaze, Noah was busy staring at his shoe, which he had taken off his foot. Holding it fondly he said, "Noah's shoe." Evidently feelings were for his footwear and not for us, but as Yona says, at least he is in touch with his emotions.

the hi game
she likes to say "hi!" and when we say "hi," she says it back. it's also kind of like peek-a-boo because yesterday josh was putting a handkerchief over his face and she would take it off and say "hi," and then put it back. and she did it to herself also. other than "duckaducka" it seems to be a first word with a kind of meaning.

what in the world?
that's what noah says a lot. what in the world? but it sounds like, "waat!! inda woo wood!!!" and he puts his hands up. i guess i said it once or twice and now it's just what he says.
he's a happy kid, in between tantrums. they happen often but they are often short and then he's laughing. i think he likes to disagree. if i say "good morning," he'll say it's not. it's not good, and it's not morning. it's night time. night time! night time! night time! and he really means what he says and is very adamant.
