Noah said the other day that his nickname should be Ezra, or maybe Eli, because it's cuter. And apparently it's important to have a cute name.
He also asked if there's a man inside the radio who is doing the talking.
He is using the potty well, and there have been several days without accidents. Last week there were 4 days without any accidents.
This is the daily routine for Noah:
When his nightlight/timer turns off, it's 6:00 AM and he's allowed to join us in our bed. He'll come anywhere from 6 to 7:00, and then sleep more in our bed until about 7:30. Sometimes both Josh and I will get up while he's sleeping, and sometimes Aviva is up also, but we'll wake him by 7:30 if he's not awake yet.
Before breakfast, Noah has to change out of his pajamas and into his clothes. We do this because we need an incentive for him to get dressed. He can keep his diaper on until after breakfast so he can do a show. That's a code word for poop.
After breakfast (which is yogurt and/or granola and/or apple slices w/peanut butter and/or eggs but either scrambled or just the white part), we'll sit on the potty and put on cloth undies.
We leave the house around 8:35-8:45, and take Aviva to her school. Noah comes with me to the door and we say goodbye to Aviva. We go to his school and I'll keep him company on the potty there, before he starts his morning work.
I pick Noah up from school at 1:00, and bring him home where Helena watches him until 4:00. Aviva also returns at 4:00, and two days a week, Matt-the-therapist comes to work with Noah until 6:30. If Matt doesn't come that day, we'll read and play and just hang out until dinner. Sometimes Noah helps make dinner.
Dinner is at 6:30, and after we eat and clean up and get cleaned up, we'll either do more playing or read books or take a bath. On Wednesdays we skype with Abuelita and Greg. We start getting ready for bed around 7:30 and brush teeth and talk about the day, and tuck the boy in by 8:00. He'll talk to himself awhile, and sometimes come running out of his bedroom and want more pets or kisses or attention, or a drink of water, but soon he stays in his room and goes to sleep.
