Aviva's words lately:

E I E I O
She likes to do things with her feet: on and off shoes, on and off socks, pants over socks and shoes, shoes on shoes, putting a balloon on her foot like a sock. She talks to herself a lot while she's doing these things.
Our normal routine is to hear her in her crib playing by herself at about 7:30-ish. She wants to read right away. As soon as we open the door to her closet/crib-thing, she says "read!" We take off pajamas so we can eat, and she puts her lovie somewhere where it will be safe. (Her lovie is some old pajamas of hers that is too small, and she calls it Owee.) After we eat breakfast, we'll get dressed and she'll help. Owee has to go somewhere safe again when we leave for school or wherever we're going. Wherever she goes, whether it's with Nana and Papa or to Kidsland, she may or may not nap. When we get back home, she'll do some playing by herself and talking to herself. She entertains herself most of the time. At bedtime we brush teeth (she does some and we do some) while we watch a youtube video, and then change into pajamas, read and snuggle and crawl around Josh's and my bed, with low lights on, drink some milk (until she stops saying "more,") and talk about the day. She'll either point to her bed when she's ready, or say "in," or just not resist when we're carrying her to her bed. We close the door and she's done for the night.
